Customer Service Team Leader

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Team Leader for a highly reputable International business based at their head office in Exeter. This role is based in the operations International team reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager. This is a full time permanent position offering a highly competitive salary.

Objectives of the role:

Support the Customer Service Manager in their role to ensure all sales orders, customer enquiries and requests for information are handled within SLA.

Support the Company and its products through delivery of excellence in customer support.

Support and develop the Customer Service team members to their full potential

Main Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the team review of the shippable reports and PNI and report back to the UK Customer Service Manager and Head of Operations.
  • Monthly review of Quotations, and the National debit list
  • Co-ordinate the updates of any pricing amendments and ensure procedure meets all SOX requirements.
  • Work with the team to review the stock levels and website information
  • Review and release shortage and faulty credits
  • Chair monthly departmental meetings
  • Receive process and manage to conclusion, customer orders, queries, credit requests and information requests of personal managed accounts.

·Communicate and/or resolve all matters of customer complaint quickly and courteously.

  • Maintain records and files of work conducted to ensure fully SOX compliant.
  • Liaise with the company's third party Distribution Centre to ensure the best outcome for customers and also costs are kept within budget.
  • Develop and nurture administrative links within client operations.
  • Monitor and develop company systems and procedures for customer "best fit" and continuous service improvement.
  • Effectively support the sales team through seeking out and providing accurate information and data.
  • Advise customers on product availability matters via incoming shipment information and Marketing support.
  • Undertake project work as may from time to time be necessary.
